The Art Deco property, designed by architect Igor Polevitsky and later updated by Morris Lapidus, first opened in 1940 and was known for decades as one of the most sophisticated and popular resort destinations in South Beach. Owners Flag Luxury and the Galbut family recently completed an extensive renovation to restore and celebrate the property’s heritage while also incorporating modern conveniences and amenities for today’s South Beach traveler, from complimentary wireless internet access to nightlife VIP concierge service and vintage car rental access.

Miami becomes the latest major market to welcome the upscale Wyndham® brand. Since 2013, the brand has flagged several key properties in top travel destinations, including New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Dallas and Charleston, S.C., as well as Anaheim, San Diego and Santa Monica in California.

Shelborne Wyndham Grand is home to the much-anticipated Morimoto® South Beach from celebrity Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto. Wyndham Makes Grand Entrance into South East Asia

PHUKET, THAILAND (31 August 2016) – South East Asia’s inaugural Wyndham Grand® location will debut in Phuket later this year, thanks to a management agreement recently signed between Parisorn Company Ltd and the world’s largest hospitality company, Wyndham Hotel Group.

Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay is expected to open just north of Patong Beach in November offering stylish rooms for hotel guests. Wyndham Grand Cruises into Belize with Luxurious Five-Star Destination

(March 23, 2017) – Continuing its aggressive development in Latin America and the Caribbean, Wyndham Hotel Group, the hotel giant with an unmatched global presence of more than 8,000 hotels, today unveiled plans to manage the stunning 242-key Wyndham Grand Ambergris Caye, the first resort in Belize to fly the Wyndham Grand® flag.

Caribbean tranquility meets Venetian romance and charm at this five-star oceanfront resort, scheduled to open in December 2018. Situated along the crystal-clear Caribbean Sea, the resort’s five towers – housing elegantly designed one-, two-, and three-bedroom hotel and residential suites – feature eleven cascading waterfalls and rise up from sparkling pools connected by bridges and canals reminiscent of Venice.
