With 1,083 guest rooms, the Wyndham New Yorker Hotel becomes the largest property in the brand’s portfolio of 170 hotels worldwide.

The newly reflagged, 1,083-room Wyndham New Yorker Hotel becomes the largest Wyndham Hotels and Resorts property and expands the upper-upscale brand’s presence in New York City.

The addition of Wyndham New Yorker Hotel, located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan at Eighth Avenue and 34th Street, is a significant milestone in Wyndham Hotel Group’s strategy to fly the Wyndham flag in key cities around the world. In the past 18 months, the brand’s footprint has expanded to city-center locations in major markets including Boston, San Diego and Philadelphia in the U.S.; Istanbul; Berlin and Salzburg, Austria, in Europe; and Cusco, Peru, and Guayaquil, Ecuador, in Latin America, among others.

Wyndham Hotel Group Set to Open Tallest Hotel in Danang

Danang, Vietnam (Wednesday 24 August, 2016) – Wyndham Hotel Group unveiled plans at a recent signing ceremony for a five-star Wyndham Hotels and Resorts® location in Danang’s Son Tra district, set to become the city’s tallest building at 199 metres.

The four-tower condotel complex currently under construction will stand at 57-storeys at its tallest point and will consist of 3,200 apartments, studios and hotel rooms; extensive conference facilities; a retail and dining precinct; and recreation parks.

The US$446 million project, expected to open in September 2018, is being developed by PPC An Thinh Danang. Wyndham Hotel Asia Pacific Co. Limited will manage the condotel.

The upscale Wyndham Hotels and Resorts® brand connects with guests by delivering comfort that exceeds expectations with the tailored services and amenities expected at a world-class hotel. Currently, there are nearly 100 Wyndham Hotels and Resorts® branded hotels located around the world in major urban and resort destinations.

Wyndham Soleil Danang, located just 100 metres from the white sands of My Khe Beach, will be the brand’s second location in Vietnam following the opening of Wyndham Legend Halong Bay in July of this year.

Wyndham Soleil Danang will feature a coral-inspired façade and a mix of studio, one, two and three-bedroom guest rooms, each featuring breathtaking views of the sea and the mountains surrounding Danang. Additional offerings will include a restaurant and bar, swimming pools, a gym, a spa, and a health and wellness centre.

Wyndham Hotel Group Expands Flagship Brand in Turkey

BERLIN (March 04, 2014) – Committed to the continued global expansion of its flagship Wyndham Hotels and Resorts® brand, Wyndham Hotel Group, the world’s largest hotel company with approximately 7,490 hotels and part of Wyndham Worldwide Corporation (NYSE: WYN), today announced the signing of the Wyndham Ankara in Turkey, the company’s first Wyndham® hotel in Turkey’s capital city.

The Wyndham Ankara, owned by ÖZ İNŞAAT SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş, will join three Wyndham hotels open in Turkey since 2012, including the upscale Wyndham Istanbul Kalamis Marina and Wyndham Istanbul Petek in the cosmopolitan city of Istanbul as well as the five-star, 219-room Wyndham Izmir Özdilek in Izmir.

The agreement supports Wyndham Hotel Group’s aggressive global expansion of the Wyndham brand, which currently consists of 170 hotels throughout the world, 30 of which are situated throughout Europe and the Middle East. In 2013, the brand was introduced to both Germany and Austria through a strategic partnership with Grand City Hotels, which saw 60 hotels signed under the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, TRYP by Wyndham® and Days Inn® brands.

The Antlers first opened in 1883 by the founder of Colorado Springs, General William Jackson Palmer, and housed the General’s large and envied collection of hunting trophies. Then known as “Little London” because of the multitude of English tourists to the hotel, it featured modern conveniences of the time including a hydraulic elevator, central steam heat and gas lights. The hotel was rebuilt in 1901 following a fire and again in 1967, still standing today in its original location.
